What led you to music?

As a child, I grew up surrounded by hymns. I remember my mother singing “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” as she went about her housework, and I also encountered many hymns throughout my kindergarten, junior high, and high school years.

I became a Christian at the age of eighteen. Through the words of the Bible, my eyes were opened to the joy and beauty of praising God, and praise became something I deeply loved.

Later, through prayer and the inspiration God gave me, I was led to begin writing lyrics and composing music as well.

My hope is that I can share the songs God has given me with those who need them—even if they reach just one person.
