Michael Williams

 

Born in Los Angeles, California, USA, Michael Williams started playing

the piano at the age of nine.

At the age of 17, he joined the singing and dancing group, "The Young Americans". He performed in concerts all over the United States and

in Japan.

At 19, because the The Young Americans were well known for representing their country and its youth, they were chosen to give a concert

at an honorary dinner for the President of the United States.

In it, Michael sang the gospel song "This Little Light of Mine" for President Ford.

At the age of 22, he started performing in musicals such as "West Side Story" and "The Sound of Music". Also a songwriter, a number of his songs were published and through the years he won six awards from

the American Songwriter Contests.

He continued performing in numerous musicals such as "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "Godspell," "Kiss Me Kate," and "Bells Are Ringing."

He became a Christian at the age of 26.

Currently he is a missionary at Hakodate Zion Church.
