Shizu Takeshita
She is a gospel singer-songwriter from Tohoku. She graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University, majoring in vocal music. After she graduated, she started working as a gospel singer. She won the Grand Prix at the 1st G.POP Contest, and she won the CTS President's Award at the Seoul International Convention in Korea.
She has released six original solo album CDs so far. As a member of DEUT, she participated in live performances and recordings by Toshio Kadomatsu and Kazuhiko Matsuo (Off Course). She also participates in various projects such as the J-Worship series (Inochi no Kotoba sha) as a solo singer, and also provides music.
Mainly in the style of singing with playing the piano, she currently performs church concerts throughout Japan, as well as concerts in Tohoku and other disaster areas, delivering God's unwavering love and hope.
She is also a gospel choir teacher, voice trainer, and gospel lecturer. She has also released two CDs so far as a gospel duo "Lasting note" with gospel pianist Yuta Yamamoto.
